The Plagiarism Game is a simple game used by Lycoming College to help familiarize students with the basic concepts of plagiarism. Players are not required to submit any personal data—a name must be enterered at the start of the game, but no confirmation of identity is needed—so the game may be used by teachers and students anywhere.
Note that the game may seem childish, or to be talking down to its players, due to the simplicity of the approach, the choice to associate the problems presented by plagiarism as goblins, and the somewhat antiquated graphics. For these reasons, I feel this game is more suited to younger audiences, such as elementary and middle-school children, than to college students.
